Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP) and young people

bullet

CDEP is specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women between the ages of 16 and 25 who are  eligible to join CDEP.

bullet

Young men and women are the future of the  community. Sometimes they do not realise that they can participate in the CDEP Scheme. If you are at least 16 years old and eligible  for an income support payment; or not a full time student; and your community has a place which they are willing to give you then you  may be eligible. You should talk to your CDEP Administrator if you want to work on the scheme.

bullet

Contact a South Region Administrator on 33973077 or 5591 7766 to find out if you are eligible for the project.  Alternatively you can contact Centrelink on 131021 to arrange an  appointment.
